The first Skyrunning World Championships since the inauguration of the ISF in 2008 will be held in Italy. These competitions are held every four years and are governed by specific regulations according to the ISF rules (see 2.5.8 and 5).  Only official national teams may take part in the Vertical Kilometer® and SkyMarathon®.
