The  ISF Technical Product Commission has been formed to classify technical products for skyrunning and other outdoor sports and to assist in their development and design with the aim of improving quality and addressing safety standards.

In the near future, new regulations in skyrunning races will render the use of ISF approved products compulsory in competitive events.

The list of approved products will be.drawn up and published on this website and distributed to race organisers, to competitors and ISF members worldwide.  

Manufacturers in the outdoor sector are invited to join the Skyrunning Manufacturers Pool to draw on the commission’s specialist know-how and experience in this field.

The ISF Technical Product Commission is composed of renowned experts like Italy’s Filippo Pavesi, a lecturer at Turin’s Polytechnic and an industrial design specialist;  and Adam Chase, President of the American Trail Running Association based in Boulder, Colorado, who is one of the industry’s most respected consultants in technical outdoor clothing and footwear.
